mud season

Well, it's mud season around these parts. I will spend a lot of time sweeping out my kitchen and begging my husband to take his boots off at the door. Though the mud may prove to be a challenge for a clean freak like myself, there are plenty of other good things blooming this season to put a smile on my face

Ahhh mud and dirt... country living. It seems to be my lot in life to keep it out of the house! I just bought some new mud boots for myself - Bogs - because I ruin every other pair of shoes I wear out into the garden and hen house and I my cheap old snow boots get too hot in the summer to wear.

Love that cute chick!

The fifth season...mud. The monkey puppies ate my boots so now I'm needing new ones...sigh. Surely puppy is almost over.

Yes, mud! We did yard work in the rain this weekend and mud, mud, mud was everywhere! Our porch is covered with muddy footprints and dog prints! But you're so right, it's a good sign of things to come! Trina

It is so nice to see I am not alone with sweeping and reminding why mud boots should be taken off before coming in the house :)
It is a good sign that spring is here!!

Ahh yes - my mud room would win if I entered a picture of it in a contest for MUDDIEST MUD ROOM!

It's mud season here too! I tracked some in today and had no one to blame but myself!

Mud season always makes me think of Colorado. My aunt is forever dealing with the boots-tracking-mud-in-kitchen problem.

PS: That little chickadee is so cute, I can't even take it!
