My Deer Friends are Back

Last year we had a ton of deer visit our yard to eat the fallen apples from our tree. I'm so happy because they're back. There are about five of them with long white tails. Most people don't like them coming around, as they tend to get into the gardens. But these girls stick mainly to the apples. They're so peaceful and protective of each other. I could watch them all day, but they never stay very long.

Ohhh gorgeous. This photo reminds me of my grandmother's house on Whidbey Island in Washington State. I remember staring in awe each time a deer wandered into her yard. So beautiful in the snow. :)

Oh... how wonderful. Is that a picture from your yard? You have snow... I'm so jealous. I haven't seen snow here in over 11 years. *sigh* maybe this will be the year. :)
